The area

The Var region possesses one of the most strikingly beautiful and well-preserved stretches of the Mediterranean coast. Long sandy beaches lead to secluded coves and a short excursion into the hills will take you through the vineyards to picturesque mountain villages and further to the local ski resorts of Valberg, Auron and Isola 2000, barely 2 hours drive away.

The ancient Greek and Roman city of Fréjus is 6 km from the property and a short bus ride. Here you will find a wide choice of restaurants, pavement cafés, shops and many buildings of historical interest including a Roman arena that now houses concerts and cultural events under the stars throughout the long summer months. Saint Raphael (10 km) is a glamorous and lively resort with many hotels and boutiques and is the starting point for excursions to the nearby Levant islands (Porquerolles, Port Cros and Levant).

The area is also a paradise for hikers and ramblers; the nature reserves of the Esterel, les Gorges du Verdon and the Iles du Levant provide countless opportunities for walkers of all levels.

Access: Nice airport is 45 minutes' drive and the TGV from Paris (5 hours) comes into the station at Saint Raphael.

Our opinion:

This is a genuine opportunity to invest on the French Riviera in a property that is ideally situated in an area where planning permission is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. Prices are also very attractive for the area.

Because the property is already delivered you will be able to see for yourself and it won’t be necessary to defer mortgage repayments. This is also perfect for investors with cash to invest, since rental income will be payable immediately.
