The development will consist of 12 small three-storey buildings divided into 150 studio to 2 bedroom apartments sold under the leaseback scheme or as holiday homes, and 20 semi-detached cottages sold as holiday homes.
Built in typical Breton tradition, with grey slate roofs, dormer windows and stone features, the residence will be electronically secured, equipped with WIFI internet connection and satellite TV.
Facilities will include a large heated outdoor swimming pool with a salad bar and grill and a fully equipped SPA and seawater therapy centre.
The leaseback apartments will be sold fully furnished and equipped.
The location:
Plescop is a small residential town just 2 km from the centre of Vannes, the regional capital of the Morbihan department.
Vannes is a very picturesque Breton coastal town, with a maze of narrow alleys surrounding the splendid St Pierre Gothic cathedral in its medieval centre, and a pretty marina. As part of Rennes University, Vannes is a lively city with plenty happening all year round. It is also an excellent starting point for day trips to the islands of the Golfe du Morbihan. Brittany, of course, is renowned for its exceptional seafood and fine cuisine and there are a plethora of restaurants to choose from, from the simplest creperie to the most sophisticated gastronomic establishments.
The Morbihan is the department that covers Brittany’s south central section and its 900 km of coast, 162 km of beaches and 2000 prehistoric sites, of which the most famous is Carnac – France’s equivalent of Stonehenge – draw a large number of visitors every year. The area, with its magnificent land and seascapes, is popular with sailors and water-sports aficionados and countless activities are on offer. It is also a busy economic centre.
The Golfe du Morbihan is enclosed by land, leaving only a narrow outlet to the Ocean, and is dotted with over 40 islands. There are oyster beds around its fringes and the area is also a bird sanctuary.
Our opinion:
This attractive property, close to one of the liveliest cities on the Breton coast, is an ideal holiday venue and offers excellent potential for capital growth. A good yield, coupled with flexible options for personal occupancy, make this an ideal investment for lovers of Brittany and it will also be possible to use your weeks in the many other properties operated by the same management company.
