10/ Tourist residences

A Residence will be classified as a “tourist residence” if in addition to furnished accommodation for temporary rental, it provides the services generally attributed to this type of accommodation: sports and leisure facilities, swimming pool(s), children’s play area, bars and sometimes restaurant, managed reception, laundry services, a common sitting-room with fire place (in the mountain resorts), board games etc. or more generally anything that could be necessary for holiday-makers to enjoy their holidays. The vast majority of residences are either three or four star. Three star is “grand comfort” and four star is “luxe”.

Personal use is generally possible and the rental income will vary accordingly it is usually situated between 3 – 5% before personal use.
